Air separation units (ASUs) are core equipment in the industrial gas industry, mainly producing bulk gases including oxygen, nitrogen and argon. They are widely applied in basic industries such as steel, chemical engineering, energy and electronics. In recent years, the industry has accelerated upgrading towards large-scale, energy-saving, intelligent and integrated development, with continuous improvement in unit capacity and operation efficiency.
New-generation air separation units adopt technologies including high-efficiency rectification, variable frequency control, waste heat recovery and intelligent operation & maintenance, which significantly reduce energy consumption and operation costs. Meanwhile, digital platforms realize remote monitoring, fault early warning and load optimization scheduling, improving gas supply stability and response speed to better meet customers’ continuous production requirements.
Driven by manufacturing recovery and emerging industrial development, demand for bulk gases is steadily recovering. Continuous implementation of large-scale and green air separation projects will further optimize regional gas supply networks and provide solid gas support for the development of the real economy.
