Argon
Spec Options: 99.9%~99.999%
Argon is the third most abundant gas in our atmosphere, though it makes up only a little less than 1% of the total amount of gases in the air. Argon is an inert gas, which means it doesn’t react or interact with other substances. You can’t see, smell, or taste argon, which gets its name from the Greek word Argos, meaning “inactive.” It is one of six naturally occurring gases called the noble gases, which all have similar properties, including being non-reactive or inert.

Argon is used as a protective atmosphere for a large number of industrial processes, including steel manufacturing, welding and metal fabrication, food preservation and winemaking.

Kelvins cryo tech offers compressed argon gas and liquid argon in a variety of purities and in various modes of supply around the world thanks to our network of storage and transfill facilities.
